Our Lord desires for us to constantly grow in our spiritual walk with him. That which follows are some intentional growth opportunities open to all, whether new in one’s walk with our Lord, or have been following him for years. We are constantly planning and organizing new offerings through which we can grow. Keep checking this page for updates. And if you have any suggestions of what we might offer, please contact us. We want to offer what you need. We are confident that God will bless us through our efforts and together we will grow in Christ.

Thursday Morning Bible Class

As we being a New Year, please consider this newly minted invitation to join the two Thursday Morning Bible classes in January:  the 8th and the 22nd.  The classes begin at 10:00am in the Fellowship Room with coffee, prayer and conversation.  The study, led by Tom Zuch, begins at 10:30 and lasts for an hour.  All are encouraged to use these two opprotunities a month to stay close to scriptures and what it means in our lives.

Weekly Devotional

God desires us to take some quiet time to reflect on what he is doing in our life. Psalm 46:10 states, “Be still and know that I am God.” We live active lives. We are blessed with the freedoms to choose what we do with our life. In the midst of all of our activities God invites us to be still for a few moments and allow him to touch our life with his love and grace. Take the time, my friend, perhaps open your Bible and read a passage, maybe speak with God in prayer, or simply sit for some spiritual quiet time. Blessings on your day!

Ongoing Community Programs and Service

Quilters

Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th, Thursdays ladies from the congregation gather together to enjoy some fellowship and make quilts that are sent around the world to those in need. Bring your own sack lunch and spend part of your day reaching out to others through sewing quilts. No particular skills are needed.

Good Shepard Homes of the West

We support these homes with our finances and we collect Campbell’s soup labels, Santaim labels, and Flav-or-pak labels that they can turn them in for supplies.

Ladies Guild

At 1:00 p.m. the first Thursday of every month, the ladies and some men folk gather for fellowship, including a great desert, and listening to a topic that is often mission oriented. The gathering usually lasts for about two hours and all guests are welcome.

Programs for Children

Sunday School

Classes begin at 9:50 for ages 3 through 99. At present we have two classes for those age three through the fifth grade, and then we have a youth class. Each week is an independent Bible story. When you arrive we will guide you to the appropriate class.
