St. Michael’s Bookclub is reading

The Shack

This is the story of Mackenzie Philip and his understanding of God. The Shack wrestles with

the timeless question, “Where is God in a world

so filled with unspeakable pain?”  We meet this month on:

 Friday January 9, 7:00 pm,

at the Keplinger’s house (1925 NE 140th Ave

                                                in Portland).  Join us even if  you didn’t get a

                                                chance to read the book.  All are welcome!

St. Mike's Ski Days!

Sunday January 18 (and February 15th!)

Two Ski Trips to Mt. Hood Meadows are planned for Night Skiing! 

If we can get 15 or more skiers we can get the group rate of $10

each for the lift tickets.  We will meet at St. Mike's at 2:00pm to

caravan to the mountain.  Ski rentals can be obtained locally: 

contact Burt Keplinger for details at 971-409-5338. 

There is one place that will even rent ski jackets, etc. 

(A sack lunch for dinner is suggested as the food prices are very

high at the lodge.)   Contact Burt for more details or to sign up.
