Sheila Bremer Pre-school Director and Teacher
I received my teaching degree in Elementary Education in 1988 from Concordia University-Portland. I returned in 1996 to pursue a Masters Degree in Curriculum & Instruction which I received in 2001. I am currently completing Endorsement Programs in Reading and Early Childhood Education at Concordia. I hold a current Oregon Teaching License. In January 2005 I was given the distinction of being a Highly Qualified Teacher under No Child Left Behind and the State of Oregon.
After receiving my Bachelors Degree I went on to teach in Washington, Texas, Illinois and Oregon teaching Third Grade, Kindergarten and Preschool. I have also been the Director of a Before and After School Childcare Program as well as a substitute teacher.
In addition to my classroom duties I also serve on the Womens Guild Board at St. Michaels as the Fellowship Coordinator. I also hold membership in the Lutheran Education Association.
Personally, I was born in St. Louis, Missouri. I grew up with my father a Minister and Librarian, my mother, a teacher and a younger brother and sister. I am a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and follow the Rams Football Team and the Blues Hockey Team as well. Along with Cardinal Memorabilia I also collect Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Memorabilia.
