Darcy Paape — Associate in Ministry

Darcy Paape serves as Associate in Ministry for St. Michael's Lutheran Church specializing in ministry to the youth and families of the congregation. She also works as Associate in Campus Ministry at Concordia University-Portland. Here her focus is as student-leader support and mentor for the students, and coordinating the efforts of Christian Life Ministries. Usually you can find her with a cup of coffee in one hand talking to a youth or college student about hiking, eating, or random life happenings. Darcy also enjoys exploring around the Northwest with her husband Adam, talking one on one with good friends and family or just reading a good book with cat Pippen on her lap.

Darcy graduated in 2000 with a B.A. in Secondary Education - English. She taught 9-12th grade English in Indianapolis, Indiana for four years and joined the team at St. Michael's in June 2005. She is currently working on her Post B.A. certification as a D.C.E. (Director of Christian Education) at Concordia-University Portland and will graduate this Spring.
