What We Believe
At St. Michael’s we celebrate that God has blessed us by bringing us to faith in his Son, Jesus Christ. We gather on Sundays and throughout the week, that through his Word and the presence of the Holy Spirit we might grow in being His followers.
We believe that we are saved by the grace of God, through the suffering, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Through faith we place our trust and confidence in him to give us strength and guidance for our daily living. We accept the Bible as his letter to us, sharing his love in our lives in all that we do.
As his followers we are committed to share his love with others. God has called us to reach out with his love and Good News to Concordia and our community. Therefore we go out with Christ, and we believe that he wants us to show his love in all that we do.
We encourage you to contact us for further information and any questions that you might have.
Worship Gatherings
Every Sunday we gather to worship at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. We welcome you to come and gather with us and be our guests. Through our time together we pray that all will experience the love of God.
- Traditional Praise Celebration – 8:30 – at this gathering the organ generally accompanies the singings, which are hymns for our Hymnal. We have separate printed orders of worship which relate to the season of the church year, and to make it easy for all participants to follow along.
- Contemporary Praise Celebration – 11:00 – at this gathering a praise team accompanies the songs, and the gathering is lead in a more informal atmosphere. The service is designed so all can easily participate as they chose.
